Following the Laker's Game 4 loss to the Phoenix Suns Kobe Bryant made one thing clear, it was the defense that lost the game, not his team's ability to score points.
"We have to do a much better job defensively," Bryant said calmly at the beginning of his post game press conference Tuesday night in Phoenix.
Bryant took just four shots in the fourth quarter, making three shots. Each of his made shots came with less than a minute and a half remaining in the game.
He added that the Lakers had focused so much on attacking the Suns newly implemented zone, that they lost focus on the defensive end, "which wins you championships."
"Offensively we scored enough points, we have to do a better job defensively, period," an annoyed Bryant repeated when pressed by reporters for the root cause of the defeat.
When a reporter asked Bryant how he was feeling, he responded with one word, "Jovial."
Almost in disbelief the reporter asked Bryant to repeat what he said, and he said again sarcastically said "Jovial." Listen to Bryant's response.
Kobe scored 38 points in the 115-106 loss. Game 5 will be Thursday night at 9 p.m. in Los Angeles.

2010 NFL Draft: First Round Results
The first round of the 2010 NFL Draft took place last night, a time many NFL fans would have been waiting for. While some teams may already have plenty of talent amongst their players, other teams such as the St. Louis Rams, probably need all the help they can get.
Speaking of the St. Louis Rams, they got first pick yesterday and got the exact player they needed when they selected quarterback Sam Bradford. The Lions selected next, and they got Ndamukong Suh, which according to bleacherreport.com, is a big move for the Lions.
The Washington Redskins needed an offensive lineman, and they got one of the best in this year’s draft when they selected Trent Williams. The Oakland Raiders selected Rolando McClain, which is another strong and very good addition to the team.
A minor surprise of the night was the Philadelphia Eagles pick of Brandon Graham, as they could well have had safety Earl Thomas. Another shocking move of last night’s 2010 NFL Draft was quarterback Tim Tebow going to the Broncos, after they passed on Jimmy Clausen.

The Impact: Cornerback Devin McCourty
Rutgers cornerback Devin McCourty was taken by the New England Patriots with the 27th pick in the N.F.L. draft. Here’s a look at how the Scarlet Knights will be affected by his departure.
What they lose:
A first team all-Big East player, McCourty’s 80 tackles were second on the Scarlet Knights. He was a headache for opposing offenses in both the secondary and the backfield, with 7.5 tackles for loss and 10 pass breakups. McCourty was also a special teams threat as Rutgers’s primary kick returner, recording a 98-yard touchdown return and 356 total return yards on the season.
Where they stand:
While the Scarlet Knights are looking to plug many holes on defense, two players have stood out in the competition for McCourty’s old position: one a veteran, and one a rookie.
Bandon Bing is the veteran, now in his senior year, his last chance to put together a strong season. He had emerged from the 2009 spring and fall camps as the starting cornerback opposite McCourty. But inconsistent play and mental lapses forced Coach Greg Schiano to demote Bing. Appearing in only seven games, Bing recorded a meager ten tackles.
Darrell Givens is the rookie, a former Penn State signee who reneged due to academic issues. A four-star recruit, Givens is one of the most talented freshman in Schiano’s new class, and has made an immediate impact, both encouraging and mildly frustrating. Looking to contribute on kickoffs, Givens let the opening kickoff of the first scrimmage roll pass him into the end zone. It was recovered for a touchdown, much to the frustration of his coaches. A few series later, on defense, Givens jumped a route and returned a 49-yard interception for a touchdown.
Bing, as a senior, has an advantage in Schiano’s eyes. With so many new faces on defense, his senior standing will be an important and necessary source of leadership on the field.

Tiffen Dfx Essentials Creative Digital Effects Software.
Tiffen has delivered a winner with this software. They have packed more filters in here than any photographer would likely use in a lifetime. This particular more advanced version of, Tiffen Dfx Essentials Creative Digital Effects Software, is super simple to use. Each filter can be used at preset levels, or it can be tweaked with parameters. The workflow is different and more photo-like than the twisted difficult to learn menus and words in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
With this standalone version, you load your digital image, which appears in the center panel. Across the bottom are selections for different gangs of filters - much like choosing from the Tiffen filter catalog. You click on the gang, then click on a selection with that group - so HFX may have gradients included. Then a panel on the right fills up with all the intensities for that filter, HFX will vary from 1 to 8 with greater softening effect. You then click on the filter you want, and the preview in the center updates your picture. Don't like the effect, tweak it with parameters.

Campus Gossip – More Garbage For The Internet
Let me make a technical correlation here about how far the Internet has come since it’s early days.
You have another garbage website like campus gossip that is set to do anything but good to those who visit it and use it.
I mean, do you really want to be putting half naked pictures of yourself on the Internet these days?
And especially if you’re in college.
Don’t you think that those images can very easily be found when your future employer decides to turn to Google to research you?
Anyway, a reflection of how bad websites like campus gossip are, just take a look at the campus gossip Facebook Fan Page.
Campus gossip has been on the web since 2007 and they only have 904 fans.
Really….?
That’s like 3 years online, and the Fan Page only have 904 fans.
Let me tell you people, that is a reflection of a terrible website, and a terrible online concept.
Anyway, if you are in college and have any aspirations to do something worth-while when you get out of college….
Stay away from campus gossip.
The images you put up there, and things you say, can very easily come back to haunt you in a lot of different ways.

Dancing with the Stars Episode Recap: Tuesday, April 6, 2010
Ten becomes nine as Dancing with the Stars cuts its second couple of Season 10. Who followed Shannen Doherty out the door? Was it another shocking boot? Find out below!
Oh, boy, people. Tom tweets yet again that we have another bottom 2 surprise. Who could it be? Well, we find out right away who it's not:
First two safe couples:
Aiden and Edyta (She's shocked. Where's the faith, girl?)
Erin and Maks
Len goes through his laborious recap. In case you already forgot: Everyone was OK except for the ultra-crappy Kate and Buzz, Nicole broke the rules, and Evan rocked. The only interesting part: Len thinks he should've given Erin a 6 instead of a 7. So when does Bruno admit he shouldn't have given Nicole a 9?
Top-scorers Evan and Anna get the encore, which is followed by Reba McEntire (Part 1) performing "I Want a Cowboy." Maks, Val, Edyta and Snejana don their hottest cowboy and cowgirl get-ups for an even hotter country western number. (As Tom says, it's nice to see three Russians and a Pole do country western.) Reba then unabashedly names Erin, Evan and Nicole as her favorites. "There are bitter people backstage right now," Tom says.

This has got to be the most exciting opportunity to go for a seriously toothy creature, the Goliath Tiger fish, awesome fighters, with incredible surges and jumps, for a big fish they are extremely acrobatic, generally taken trolling or dead/live bait fishing, no one has seriously gone after them with a fly rod and the world record is waiting for an adventurer to take.
The legendary Goliath Tigerfish is ranked by ‘In Fisherman’ magazine as one of the top 10 hardest-fighting freshwater fish on the planet.
When your name is Goliath, you’d better be one humongous, ferocious creature, and the Goliath tigerfish (Hydrocynus goliath) definitely lives up to its moniker.
Tigerfish is the common name for a variety of species from several different families of fish, usually on account of their colouration or otherwise fearsome appearance.
Goliath Tiger Fish: A Deadly Catch
Whenever we hear names like “goliath” and “tiger” we imagine ferocious-looking predator that chews savagely on its preys. This is the exact picture you can depict for the huge Goliath Tiger fish. Generally, the term Tiger fish is a common name for specific specie of fishes with fearsome appearance and scale color.
There are several species belonging to the family of Tiger fish, one of which is the genus Hydrocynus from the family Alestiidae. The Goliath Tigerfish known as “Hydrocynus goliath” or Goliath tiger is the largest of these genome and can be found to dwell on fresh waters of Congo river as well as Sangha in Africa. These creatures may come in silvery white with gray color, yellow sheen or metallic orange and could grow to an enormous size in as much as 24 inches!
The Goliath tigerfish is believed to be the counterpart of another gruesome-looking Piranha that can be found in the jungle of South America. Although the two belong to different families they share similar razor-sharp teeth attributes and both are aggressive hunters.

Using Blogs to Drive Targeted Traffic and Build Opt-In Lists
Blogs, or weblogs, were the harbinger of the Web 2.0 sites so prevalent now online. From their first inception, blogs were the first major interactive type of web site, allowing readers to add to the content through comment fields on each post.
As their popularity grew, new directories sprung up to index these blogs, meaning they could be found both in traditional search engines and in the new blog directories. And anytime there are new directories being searched, there are new opportunities for building traffic and building opt-in lists if you can garner some of that search traffic.
Like any search engine, blog directories are looking for high-quality fresh content to offer up to their users, so your first requirement is to be sure you have unique helpful information posted to your blog regularly. Make sure your blog name represents your blog's topic, and that each post is relevant to our niche. If you're writing a technology blog, don't suddenly post an article better suited to a teen blog, unless the content is also relevant to your tech blog.
To build traffic and build opt-in lists using your blog, you have to make sure it's getting the widest possible exposure. Start by installing the plugins to create an XML sitemap for the traditional search engines, along with an effective SEO plugin to try and maximize your results in searches there.
Next, make sure your blog is listed in the Web 2.0 blog sites like Technorati and MyBlogLog. Hook it to social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Finally, after each new posting use a free online service like iPings or Pingoat to announce each new post in the various RSS directories too. And speaking of RSS, if you're using audio on your blog, be sure to get your podcast RSS feed listed in the appropriate directories as well.
As you can see, with very little effort you can get your blog posts indexed in a wide variety of locations, and if you're blog stays themed to your main keywords it shouldn't take long for you to start building targeted traffic to your blog, traffic you can then funnel to your squeeze pages to build opt-in lists, to affiliate links and to your own products online.
For all the above reasons, more and more Internet marketers and affiliate marketers are now sing their blog, or a blog network, as their central hub for driving targeted traffic, attracting those targeted visitors to their blog and then funneling that targeted traffic to their desired action steps, be it building their lists, selling their products or promoting affiliate marketing opportunities.
